Taking a look at the list will shine a spotlight on the make up of
the world today. YOU can see the break down of the population of the
world. YOU can see at a glance the good, the bad and the ugly. YOU will
be informed and maybe YOU will see something  YOU may be able to change.
Some need YOU can fill. Some trend YOU can reverse.


The Quote


I first heard this over forty years ago. It’s from Zig Ziglar. It
states: “YOU can have everything YOU want in life if YOU help enough
other people get what they want.” Successful businesses have been doing
this since the beginning of time. So how do YOU find out what people
want? Ask questions. Do surveys. Check out statistics.


Statistics and The List


Today, the world population is ruffly seven billion people.
Fifty-seven percent, of  which, come from Asia, twenty-one percent from
Europe, nine percent from Africa, nine percent from North America and
five percent from South America. Fifty-one percent are women and
forty-nine percent are men. Six percent own or control fifty percent of
the world’s wealth, and five of those six people are U.S. citizens. One
percent has just been born and one percent is on their death bed.


Seven percent have been to college. Thirty-three percent are
Christians and sixty-seven percent are non-Christians. Eighty percent
live in substandard housing. Thirty-one percent are unable to read or
write. Twenty-four percent have no electricity. Seventy-one percent have
no access to the internet. Thirty-nine percent live on less than two
dollars a day. Looking at the world’s population a a whole – one-third
is dying from lack of bread, one-third is dying from lack of justice,
and one-third is dying from over eating.
